Why I am not a liberal
Dean Barnett, guest-blogging over at Hugh Hewitt.com, knocks one out of the park, though I would disagree with him on the use of the word "Democrat" as a substitue for "liberal". It's not always been that way, and Clinton's classic "triangulation" strategy proved you don't need to veer to the hard left to win as a Democrat. (Pause, waiting for my some of my harder-right friends to stop hyperventilating...):-)
If the Democrats can find a "post-liberal" strategy, they'll be in fine shape for the future. But seeing today's world thru 60's coloured-glasses has gotten them nowhere, fast.
