Enough of the planning, let's see what you've got!The Future Combat System gets go-ahead on weapons prototypes.
I'm really curious to see what they come up with, given our recent experience in Iraq, where it's been proven that although the Stryker is nice, fast and quiet; when RPG's (and worse) start flying, there's no substitute for armor plate when it comes to crew safety.
Maybe something like what the Swedes are up to, or the Brit's ideas on a new AFV.
